Have you removed/cleaned/resecured the grounds Posted by nicknick [Email] (#731) [Profile/Gallery] (more from nicknick) on Mon, 22 Feb 2010 13:09:16 In Reply to: i'd like to locate the problem but the issue, vvack0matic [Profile/Gallery] , Sun, 21 Feb 2010 18:26:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
up on the front of the head? It is possible you get a deterieration (sp?)of conduction through that ground, which would give a classic bad connection. I never had any running issues related to those grounds, but i had a poor (non-existant) ground for the A/C there, and it gave the weirdest behaviour i have seen.
Dashpot-i removed mine when i put in '92 motor (w/mitsu), and i am not sure what it was ever needed for-car never stalls/ behaves badly without it.
check the grounds with a multimeter-just put on current setting and jump the connection from the crimp fitting (on the wire) to the motor-with engine running, etc, you shouldn't see any current through the meter on any of the grounds-if you see any reading at all, clean and resecure.
Good luck
