Hey Jeff,
I don't have the fuel chip, 'using the rrfpr as a bit of a band-aid because things will probably be continuously evolving for a while.
My air bleed screw is cranked all the way in, but you mentioned using a tach for precision. I thought I'd try hooking up an old dwell/tachometer that I had sitting around to see what it said. As it turns out, it reads about 150 rpm lower than the dash tach. Maybe it's a given that I should have done this in the first place.
It turned out that I had to turn in that set screw a little bit to get it up to 850rpm (Bentley figure I had stuck in my head) All seemed well with the world after setting the AMM. Now the O2 test pin fluctuates constant, no more noticeable hunting, less exhaust fumes, fans cycle every once in a while. Of course, though, the tachometer on the dash is pointing straight at 1k rpm...
I made a video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKx6Y9HovRA&feature=youtu.be Might have to pause at the point where the camera finally focuses on the dwell/tachometer... the reading on the v8 scale is multiplied by 2, for 4 cyl, then 100. The engine seemed to run very well on the test drive. Any thoughts?
