The vendor is Superior Restoration Products; I used their location in Sacramento and worked directly with the branch boss, John.

I originally found out about this company and their product by searching online to see what others had done on their carpets. If you go to Google and type in "saab 900 carpet re-dye", you'll find a forum post called "carpet rehab: re-dye it!". The person on there got really nice results, and so this encouraged me to give it a shot.
I mean, my carpet looks fantastic, it's just not usable right now because of the dye coming out of it. Some have asked if it's really appropriate to use a water-based dye on a polymer like nylon (I'm assuming the 900 carpets are nylon). I have no idea, no knowledge in the science involved. All their automotive carpet dyes are water-based.
At this point, from what I'm seeing, I guess still the best I can do is take a hose and a soft brush and try to rinse out the excess dye until the water doesn't look burgundy anymore, and then let them dry out.
Just disappointed that Superior Restoration has left me hanging in a situation where I can't put my interior back together. I mean, it's one thing that it didn't bleed when I brought it back to their place, but ok, I have photos of half a dozen damp rags now that are soaked in dye. Just doesn't seem there is too much interest from them to deal with a problem -- and problems do sometimes happen.
