When you replaced the connector, your APC solenoid clicked as it should, and did it also solve a base boost issue you were having? That’s what I’m trying to solve.
I think you might be right an about the solenoid being magnetic. I’ve read on some forums that the starter-to-cap ignition wire can cause APC issues if it runs too close to the solenoid due to magnetic field interference.
