I did the oxygen sensor checks as prescribed in the manual and it checked out fine. I even tried disconnecting the sensor and driving it but same issue with misfiring showed up again. Yesterday after having the battery disconnected overnight I was able to drive it without problems for about 30 minutes-no issues. I parked it for a hour or two, and when trying to restart it, the idle was so erratic that I couldn’t even keep it running let alone drive it!
At this point the engine was likely still warm so I do still think it must be temp related. I tested the coolant temp sensor by the fuel injectors and it checked out, but I wonder if this could be the problem, or some other issue with coolant pressure
Other than disconnecting each fuel injector electrical connection one by one to confirm they were clearly making a difference, I haven’t looked into cleaning them but I don’t understand how dirty injectors would result in this.
