thank you chrisx, i of course appreciate your response.

the grinding noise, will only appear under load or acceleration. with the clutch in or with the moving car in neutral, the car sounds so beautiful, as most all of you probably know or have known ... but put it in gear ... and look out cowboy. dig?
i drove nearly eight miles upon it at that point (still convincing myself that it was the exhaust rattling or my clutch itself.. )
it however hasnt been moved again. fortunately ive another car for the winter months so the timing was divine. now ive six months to have my car repaired in the best fashion, thus my posting. ive some things to learn.
