Gary,
you will need some 1/4" or 6mm for the APC connections to the turbo. These connections should have spring clamps on them. If not, please use clamps or ty wraps as these are very mimportant. I used 1/8" (3mm) for the rest of the connections. I think the oe hose was 4mm, though I cannot be sure. DO NOT USE WASHER HOSE. I used silicone hose as it holds up better to heat and oil than rubber hose. Silicone hose sticks to the fittings better than rubber, so I do not have mine ty-wrapped. Your turbo actually pressurizes the intake when under boost so the hoses can pop off if under high boost. This is more of a problem with cars which are developing WAY over stock boost. I am running an 185HP APC controller and have the wastegate set to 6.5psi. I have never popped a hose since I have installed silicone.
