Dave New has the procedure listed on his site. It is painless except if one of the bolts is stuck in the old ball joint. Make sure you lube the shanks of the new ones when you put them in and use anti sieze on all of the bolts and studs. Especially the shock lower stud. This is to help with other repairs in the future. Make sure the ball joints used are of OE quality. TRW makes two types. A cheap one and an expensive one. Apparently, the cheap one is not the one to get.
