Are you going to be replacing the head unit? If so, with a tape deck? I've got a real nice blaupunkt aspen tape head unit in the classifieds. It's a high end deck with just about everything a tape deck can come with. But as far as speakers go, i have infinity kappa 4"'s in the front and while they're a little pricey, i've found that they are worth it. In custom cut holes in my doors, i have 5 1/4" kenwoods and they're much cheaper but i've found that they're quite up to par with speakers of a much higher price.
