Ive got a 88 900 Tc, i installed a new sony head unit (45x4) with 2 set of preamp outputs. I replaced the stock 4" speakers in the dash w/ new kenwoods 4"ers. On the handrests of the two doors i mounted 1" kenwood dome tweeters. I repalced the rear 6.5s with a set of sony explods 6.5" 3way speakers rated to 210 watts. The fabric panels that covers the rear speakers would not fit flat again with the sonys installed, so i scribed where speakers would be on the covers and cut them out so they would fit right over the speakers, then i mounted the grills that came w/ the explods so the they cover the edge where i cut, it looks really sharp w/ the red explode speakers and the grill against the tan int. I ran all the wires and the two preamps the the trunk where i have 2 JBL 12" subs in a box that i made to custom fit the trunk of the car. I designed the box so that i would have the proper volume for the subs, but i would still have some room in the trunk and would be able to open up the hatch back there to get to the jack and tools. Powering the subs i have a 150x2 watt mtx amp bridged. For the rest i have a kenwood 50x4 watt amp. The two front channels are powering the 4"ers and the 2 tweeters (that came with in line high frequency crossovers), and the rear 2 channels are powering the 2 sony explodes. Im am very pleased w/ the setup, it sounds great, even when crusin w/ the top down, and theres not too much bass, unless i want it, in which case i can adjust the power going to the sub at the mtx amp. Let me know if u have any questions. I hope this helps, and let us know how it turns out.

-Jason
