Hey JJ!

How long has it been? More than four years, anyway. Thanks so much for your advice (and everyone else's). I disconnected the wastegate vacuum hose from the solenoid per your instructions, and...16-17 psi sustained boost, reaching initially as high as 19 psi. It feels like it should feel, finally : ) but I'm not going to destroy the engine in the process : (

So, with this info, should I look to the BPC valve (is this the same as the APC valve)? What should I expect to pay for one of these, and where is it?

Also, the wastgate is screwed about six or seven full turns (less boost) from the maximum right now. I had tried to lessen base boost (an idea from one of the earlier posts), but the only thing that did was to lessen the top boost even more than it was.

Thanks again JJ, and send me an email if you want. I'd love to know how the Aero is doing, because I remember you being able to outrun or at worst keep up with me even when I had installed that durn Abbott ECU. (The gauges still look great).
