Mostly normal.. thses cars do release closer to the floor than most others and it's not adjustible :-).
However the Clutch pedal pivot bush is pitifull and wears out early.. that can and does reduce pedal feel and activation point.
Ideal fix is a Bronze bearing insert.. but failing that:-) buy and install a new plastic bushing.
