I posted the problem with my 94cde wouldn't start at first crank after engine replacement. The problem is solved. It was a bad fuel pressure regulator. Fact of the matter is, I was throwing parts at it and I almost ran out of parts to replace.
What would make the engine not start and keep idle after shutting down for a period of time? The fuel is losing pressure. A bad FPR could not keep pressure of the fuel system when the engine is off.
Earlier I replaced the AIC. It didn't do it. I was on my way to Home Depot and I was thinking. What else was on the new engine I haven't replaced. Other than the fuel injectors, and the crank position sensor, I have the fuel pressure regulator left. The FPR seems to be the most logical and also the easiest. So it is fixed.
Of course the blower motor still would not stop blowing high. Neither would it resapond to command on the ACC. The radiator fan still would not come on. The AC compressor still would not engage.
One thing at a time.
