From what I remember, typical cel codes I had was P0133 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor1). I have a theory that the speed in which the O2 sensor heats up is changed with the size/configuration of the downpipe and bung location. The O2 sensor, although heated, needs the hot exaust gas to bring it up to operating temperature for closed loop operation. There is a certain time that the ECU waits and if ECU doesn't see the o2 sensor signal oscillating with a certain frequency by a certain time then after so many run cycles, will throw the P0133 code. It kind of makes sence that the smaller OEM downpipe will heat up the O2 sensor better due to backpressure and engineered bung location.
