Around 1 PM my younger son called me he had an accident in our town in his 95cse turbo. The truck on the left lane in a construction zone did not see him on the right switching lanes and jammed the 95cse. He had no way to go between temporary concrete dividers and the truck. He hit a traffic sign before stopping. From what I understand the car is totaled. The important thing he is walked away unhurt. Such was the account related to me. I told him to ask the tow truck to drop the car in our driveway for now.

Preliminary evidence shows the truck driver was at fault. His insurance has contacted us. We will have to wait a few days to get the police report.

My wife wasn't too thrilled about the 9k. Her 94 has recently stranded her because of a dead battery. Hope this episode reminds her the safety of our 9k which I have full confidence. Just too bad we have to sacrifice it. This is the second 9k we wrecked.

Don't know what I'll do. The newest 9k we can get is 11 years old. We'll probably move on. There is a 94cs turbo left in the household.
