After a run around with the insurance company with my 87/900t accident, it took 9 moths to settle with them. Another year to get a used rear axle and a driver door at a cheap price and waiting for my bests friends wife's brother to do the body work. 6 month later the trans. went and another 4 month to get a god used replacement and install myself. I still have the car and it's my favorite Saab for long road trips. That's a lot of time spent on a car that the insurance company was paid to insure it for FULL coverage. Then they had the nerve to try raising my insurance for an accident that wasn't my fault and asked if I would also like the full coverage, again. The only way around old cars and insurance company scams is to have the car repaired yourself and sue the other cars driver for lose of personal property. What a P.I.T.A If you have any receipt for parts or repairs, use them to get more money in the settlement. Sorry about the lost of another of your family member of Saab's. You son got to walk away unharmed. Yeah! for another Saab Safe Moment!!!!!
