Yesterday I finally found the connectors for the rear ABS sensors too. I have a '94 Aero and was seeking specifics about where to find them on the board a week or so ago. I asked about how to get the sill covers off and was told that it was unnecessary. Well it is necessary on a '94. The thing I was missing is that there is a part at the forward end of the plastic sill that snaps in place in a slot in the body - so it's not necessary to remove the cover on the pillar, you just need to pry up (carefully) on the front end of the cover after all the screws are out.
Once I got the cover off I saw the opening that was referred to in the replies to my post. It is a rectangular white plastic cover with the cable coming up through it. To access the connectors (it's the same on each side), you have to remove the cover and reach your hand in through the opening. The connector is clipped to the roof of this chamber you are reaching into. It's not hard to get it free just going by feel - you move it sideways to free it from the clip. I'm about 6' tall with about average size hands, and it wasn't too difficult for me to get my hand in there, free the connector, and then pull the connector up through the hole so I could separate it and measure resistance.
On mine the resistance was good (1.1 to 1.2 Kohm), as was the case with both front connectors. So I still don't know why my ABS light comes on once I'm over about 5-10 mph. I guess I have to find someone to read the codes.
Question: How does one remove the connector to the controller on the side of the battery box? There is one inaccessible torx screw holding the controller on, but it doesn't appear that the connector can be removed with the controller in place. There is a silver clip on the back of the connector that looks like it might be a lever to hold the connector in place, but it will hit the battery box if I try to move it.
