bought just for this mission, to observe the oil press, from egauges.com.

Below is observation result on my '94 Aero **80K** miles.

When hot (100C). - Stock B234 Relief Spring
- Idle 1.2 bar -17 psi
- 3K rev 2.5 bar - 36 psi
- 5K rev 2.8 bar - 40 psi

B235 Relief Spring
- Idle 1.2 bar - 17 psi
- 3K rev 2.5 bar - 36 psi
- 5K rev **3.5 bar** - 50 psi

I switched the setup & gauge to my other car, 9000 CDE 2.3T,
eventhough the car got higher miles (200 K miles) it observed about same.

Saab engineers must have some valuable reason when they switched to stiffer relief valve to an updated one with other parts remained. Also, trust me there will be no more pride & proud here when the next day u revv and your engine seized at whatever miles, who knows, somebody want to learn the hard way like I did ;)
