Please pardon my confusion - but why would anyone want to mix in that 134a krap any more than they absolutely HAD to ?
My opinion:
If there was just a wisp left in it I'd accept that as being 'clean' and put in their refrigerant/sealer combo just like that...seems to me that if there is actual pressure left in it that it'd be wisest to dispose of that because it would lower the system's efficiency and serve zero purpose otherwise.
I hope that helps in some manner.
