To be perfectly honest, I didn't do a thorough inspection before my drive down. I was planning on driving the car, not selling the car, so I wasn't being scrupulous. I've owned the car for almost 5 years and I'd never seen any structural rust so I didn't think to check. There are two slight dents, one below each of the taillights. Next to the right taillight dent there is a hint of superficial rust in that vertical crease thats there in all pre-'93 9000s. There is a superficial spot the size of a quarter to the right of the rear license plate. There is a small superficial rust spot 1/4" in diameter on the right rear quarter panel below the bumper strip, just behind the wheel well trim.

I did an oil change, flushed and refilled the coolant, checked tire pressures and replaced all dead external bulbs. I changed the wheels outdoors while it was raining (I put the Super Aeros on my other car, planning to wear out these tires and then upgrade). While doing so, I looked at the rear shock mounts inside the wheel wells and didn't see rust. I felt with my hand and didn't feel any either. I cannot say with 100% confidence that no rust exists, but if it does, it has to be extremely minor.

The car had a faded hood so I put the red hood off my late '91 9000T on it. Fewer stone chips, no rust...still a bit faded.

Sunroof works. Windows work. Seats work. No electrical gremlins. Instrument cluster says theres an issue with the taillights but they all work fine, so I probably just used one or two incorrect bulbs. SRS light on, surprise surprise. To the best of my knowledge, the car has never been in an accident.

I have many extra parts for this car that I will no longer need. Theyre taking up room in my garage in Bovina, NY. If you buy the car or not, let me know if you need stuff. Most items will probably be free.
