I think I got it off the Quasimotors site, or maybe on a long detailed how-to-pull-a-motor post on this site, but you pull up the false firewall after unplugging the harness from the ECU, then lay it all over on top of the intake manifold. Still in the way but that's the best you can do.
I think there's a hex-head screw at psgr-side end of the bracket where the ECU is that you pull, that releases a grey connector. Then you pry out on two springy parts of the sheet metal bracket that ECU is slid onto, and ECU slides right up. Then the harness connector unplugs with a kind of unlatching arm that's part of the thing, lever-action style.
You unplug wires to the MAP sensor over on psgr end, and pry its hose off either at sensor or at manifold. Then there are two hex-head screws, one at each of far end upper corners of false firewall, and the rubber gasket strip across its top has to pull off bodywork at either side, rest of it can stay on false firewall.
Make sure to check on the condition of the short plastic tubes that link the heater hoses to the final stretch of hose that goes in to the core. They get old, brittle, and crack and seep, or crumble. Someone on here reported replacing them with I think 3/4" copper tubing, said it was an exact fit.
Quasimotors is still available, Google its name and click on the Finnish site that posts a mirror of the original, jope? or jopi.com I think.
