Fixed the splitting vacuum hose by using a short length of heat srink tubing. It worked so well I decided to add several more short lengths on all the vacuum ends. Now I don't have to remove the dash to replace the whole vacuum line to the turbo gauge. Checked the brake pads before going to motor vehicle inspection and ended up replacing all the brake pads. Thought I have a set of front pads and look at my supply for all the other Saabs. I didn't know that the 1991 Saab 900s were the same pads. Very cool! Inspection today and just waiting on rubber/metal replacmeny clutch supply line. Clutch still slips if I boost too much. I'll just take it easy until the clutch line is replaced. Hopefully this will cure the slippage. Still is very fast with low boost. Hard to believe a car built in 87 is still so timeless looking.
