Thanks for your response and advice. I knew that somebody out there had experienced this joy previously. I have removed the clutch pedal and the master cylinder. The accelerator pedal is still atatched to the bracket. Is it easier to remove the cable from the top of the accelerator pedal or to disconnect the pedal and leave it in the car as you suggested?
