and POR-15 might help you slow down the rust a bit.
I did the whole lower left side of our 97 Aero last spring, taking off the plastic aero skirt and door trim panels. Keep it from getting a toehold ... and on the darker colors, like yours, if you're casual about a perfect match, the second layer of a POR-15 gloss topcoat looks close enough for most uses.
Especially on a car from the mid-1990's.
