Sounds like an issue I have seen on a few different 9000:
Check the control arm bushings. They get sloppy after a while and can cause this type of symptom/noise. If you replace them; find the solid/polyurethane type. they tend to last longer and perform better.
Have also seen that the mounting point for the control arm bushing-bracket hardware comes loose from the frame and will cause mysterious clucking during load changes.
You can peel the carpet back just ahead of the rocker panels and see where the bolts come through.
