It takes alot of effort to get the air out. I read several posts and none were definitive. This works - raise both front wheels off ground. Engine off, work steering left to right lock to lock about 30 times. Have the cap off the reservior and create a bib of towels around it's neck. If you have the hood up you can peer through the opening and watch for fluid to jump out the neck. This is air escaping. Reinstall cap, start car, work wheel back and forth a few times. Then shut off car, remove cap and look for foam. Should not be any. If there is, repeat above procedure. This works and it is quick and will save you alot of frustration. Had I known this yesterday, I would already be done.
Thanks for the ideas so far. I only wasted one can of fluid and a $3 piece of hose that probably needed replaced after 17 years anyhow. Hoses have been the bane of my existence lately anyhow.
