now sure why you swapped out in the first place, but if you did so to prevent random starting issues, especially when NOT stone cold but after running and a brief stop, or on a hot or in the sunlight day... there is a way to fix that. another told me about it and I did a write up with pictures.
the problem seems to be that the aggregate resistance from the key to the wiring though the relay and finally the solenoid on the starter gets large enough that the solenoid does not get enough amperage to fire.
The solution is, an $8 relay, wired in to use the yellow solenoid trigger wire to latch, and power from the battery brought through that relay to the terminal on the solenoid where that yellow wire *used* to go.
of course this is if you are having random no CRANK and a click heard. Won't start when warm to hot, and a jump starts the car, or cooling it off works, or replacing the starter, battery or key switch in the past seemed to help. if the car cranks this is NOT the solution/problem.
