Thanks for the ideas. I've checked the air filter which is a K&N replacement and it was clean. My tires are all at 32 psi and recently balanced. As far as the exhaust system, it seems to flow easily. My new center pipe makes less noise than the old silencer (more than a new silencer) and I am not seeing black soot at the exhaust tip. I hope my direct cat isn't bad since it is only a year old (10k miles on it). Still looking for the smoking gun that is killing my mpg.
Update: Added new fuel pressure regulator and no improvement. I guess it could be the O2 sensor? Or maybe just an old engine.
