So i had the stud issue with the exhaust manifold i have a 1996 9000 aero. i decided to pull the head since it has 290k miles on it. I got the gasket set and at the end when installing the intake gasket it was the wrong one which i just over looked and trimmed off the extra parts of the gasket that set right at the injector spray sems to be ok but, im finding now the temperature gauge only moves about 1/4 of the distance it used to. Im thinking that since the gasket kit ad the wrong intake gasket that the head gasket may have been wrong also and its covering something it shouldn't be. the aero has if i remember the 2.3r motor ?? and there is another one listed never the less if someone has had this issue before you all will know what im talking about. My question is will this motor over heat because of the gasket issue or will just the gauge not be right..Thank in advance for any info
