I've been scouring the net and local newpapers for a couple weeks now for a 91+ Saab 9000 Turbo. I've driven an 87 9000 Turbo and it's pretty cool. I drove a 93 9000 Turbo and it was awesome..my dilemma is...I found a 91 9000 Turbo and a 93 9000 Turbo and would like a little advice on what's better? The 91 definately has the performance, and bigger tires from what I read. The 93 has the updated body style (which I really like) yet it has the infamous TCS. I will probably find myself driving the car pretty hard at times, so I don't know if I would want the TCS. Also, when they made the change from the body styles...did the interior change at all...I LOVED the seats and seating position in the 93. Also, the 91 has 159k miles on it, but is around $4k. Where as the 93 has 116k miles and is $5k. The 93 has also had a lot of recent repairs..(expensive stuff). I haven't been able to drive the 91 because of the distance and hadn't had time to see it in person, but honestly, what do you guys think of as the differences between them?? I've heard performance wise, go with a 91, but 93 is newer and has 50k less miles on it.
Thanks in advance,
Joseph
