Yes..the 91 will be the "sportier"...faster...stiffer ride..and maybe more rattles and squeeks. The 93 will be more luxo..but "peppy". You really need to get a service history of both cars..see Quasimotors website for things that frequently need replacing/repairing and what to look for. I drive a 91 manual because I prefer the older bodystyle, and the rocket acceleration/handling. Dont really like the newer bodystyle except in Aero trim. The 91 turbo is priced not far below the 93 because it is somewhat of a rare car..and as time ticks on they are becoming more and more scarce.That particular style was only produced for 2 years..unlike the 93 newer 9000cse/cs which ran for apprx 6 yrs. Lots and lots of them out there. I really think those of us that own a 91/92 9k own them because they are that particular model..not just because they are a 9000 turbo. Take your time and drive them both..I guarantee you will feel a distinct difference between the two,..the choice is yours...good luck. P.S...the interiors are virtually identical...and TCS sucks !!!!!!
