A personal list, for what it's worth: I have a 1993 CSE 2.3 9KT
(1) 16" wheels, with 205/55 tyres assuming normal 6.5" rims. This size is easy to find and you'll have lots of choice of rubber. I like Pirelli P6000s pumped to about 38 psi.
(2) Re-bush suspension in something harder than standard if over 75K miles - it may be enough. The stock dampers are pretty good and last for ever. If I were changing to something sportier it would be Koni.
(3) Saab's own sport exhaust looks good and is cheap - I cannot see the sense in a 3" drainpipe unless you are going for serious horsepower at high revs - however, the Speedparts system does look very good value. Fit anything like this before the next item, ie.
(4) A re-programmed ECU, individually calibrated for your car by a firm you trust. Which may lead you to using
(5) the best fuel you can find and afford. It really does make a difference, which you can see on your boost gauge.
However, before you do any of this, check over all the turbo components and hoses with the help of the postings on this board. Your CSE has very solid performance from stock but leaks, poor solenoids and so forth can erode it substantially. Have fun!
