I was surprised at the mileage too. The best I had seen on straight highway driving to Staten Island from MD was just over 34 mpg. The trip to Delaware and back is relatively flat and the speeds vary from 65 - 70 down to 25 mpg through the town of Georgetown. It also included idling for about 10 minutes while a train passed through town. I think the higher mileage is attributed to a few things. My Saabtech friend just readjusted my dashpot, basic idle and throttle position sensor. They were pretty far out. I also put a can of Berryman's B-12 Chemtool in to clean things out after the readjustment. Berryman's will increase your mileage a bit. If you have 2.0L engine the Bosch p/n is 4418. If you have a DI-equipped engine the p/n is 4417. That is what they were over a year ago, when I bought and installed
mine.
