My experience is that Sunoco or Shell, preferably Sunoco 94 octane is the best gas out there without getting into racing fuel. BP has lots of additives and chemicals in it and I had a bad experience with fuel injectors and that gas in the past. You will notice a difference in the performance of your car, particularly a turbo with the 94 octane. I also use Chevron additive every 3000 miles or so to clean out the fuel system, also makes a difference in performance.
If you don't car about performance, stick with the low octane, it should work fine and get you where you are going. I want my car to have the best performance possible, and I think that the higher grades of gas also
are mmore refined so there is less chance of creating problems with the fuel system.
