I think that the factory amp turn-on lead is combined in the DIN cable that runs from the EQ to the AMP.I would meter the pins and see which one goes to +12 when you turn on the deck. It is possible that the factory amp turn-on is fed at a current below which is required to turn on your aftermarket amp. If that is the case then use the power antenna lead that is in the harness at the cassette deck.
