Lets say one wants to install a standard throttle body into a TCS car "as you did" What has to happen from soup to nuts? Did you have to remove the potentiometer, etc?

I am asking this because my indy told me that Electronic throttle bodies are back ordered until March - everywhere in the US. If I do have a problem it would be cheaper to scrap to whole damn system as the TCS parts run 700 bucks each.

Thank you, - I think many of us would be interested in this answer.
