'99 9-5 2.3l wagon Currently 22K, with only the first two Oil changes (fossil) at dealer 1K service and at 2K to get rid of the dino after the engine was broken in. I've used RP since 2K, I changed the RP at 5K to flush out any remaining dino, and have been ~5k changes to be very conservative.( Delco UltraGuard Gold filters). I have had a couple of tests done, and thats why I stick with the ~5K interval. Many 9-5ers have had turbo seal troubles, and I think I'm one. I can't understand why the low base numbers other than fuel/glycol leaking into the oil. Is there any way to test turbo seals other that outright replace ment? I have a scheduled 20 K service for after the hoildays. Ill have them take a look.
Thanks for all the input... Best Wishes to all.....Adam
