Yes it will fit. The ZF boxes are notoriously fragile (much worse than the BW's in 900's even)and are frightenly expensive to rebuild even tho the re and re costs are lower. If this were my car I'd seriously consider swapping in a 5spd, if I couldn't afford the $2500/$3500 that a decent ZF rebuild costs. As others have stated a wrecker autobox is just too big a risk, as it could (probably) have two weeks life left in it. Buy a donor car and swap in it's 5 spd, you will need a lot of small conversion bits, and that's the only cost effective way to get them, besides it's a full size instruction manual.
