oops forgot the rest. it's out of a 88' 9000 turbo and it's a auto.
The trany just died and i took it out of the car. It cost so much to get it rebuilt and i'm affraid of a junk yard trany.
I have rebuilt a trany before but is there any thing that i should know about this trany.
the problem with it was the forward gears stopped working, only reverse worked.
What should i look for? Should i do a total rebuild or just change the bands and/or the valve body springs?
i orderd the kit and it's going to be here in 3 days. so i need all the info on how to do this. Is there any kind of manual for these cars? Or can somebody e-mail some kind of instructions.
thanks
