I own a mid97 9000Aero and I must say I was thoroughly enjoying it until I sent it in for a free "Saab Clinic" checkup. The Swedish engineer informed me that there was a small leak through one of the seals of the engine. So, I left it with the agent to fix it. When I collected the car a day later, I noticed an appreciable loss of turbo power and a rumble at low revs (below 1000). I sent it back to the agent, they worked on it and when I drove it home, this time the cruise control does not work and the loss of turbo power was still there. Of course I complained and they replaced the Direct Ignition unit and the APC valve ( I paid for them of course) and guess what? The turbo did regain its power but the rumble is still there. I have sent it back twice since then and they still could not solve the problem. I am losing faith in the Saab agent here - can anyone of you fellow Aero owners out there help? My car has only done 91000 km and it has given me immense pleasure driving it if not for this minor irritation.
