Yes, Ludi, flat topped like the red one.
I like contrast too, but I thought lightning blue shelby's would look OK on the car. A change from the silver GB's I've had since 1988 or so...and, I have alot invested in those shelby's right now. $200 for the wheels, $120 for the paint and clear, and loads of hours stripping, blasting and polishing, plus $200 for 4 new tires mounted and balanced...I still need to locate center caps.
I'll chop a coil off the rear before I spend money on new springs. I drove the car once in the past 2 years, so it's not like I have a deadline(other than SOC in July)
The front may not actually be too high, but the sagging rears made the front seem higher, the best I can figure. Other than sitting on blocks for 9 months, I did nothing to the front end. A few pounds of difference in the engine bay ain't the problem. A loaded trunk may have just made the front seem too high.
I knew the rear was going to be too high with the springs I put in. Having to jack the trailing arms to get the nuts on the shocks to start was my first indication. Driving it too hard that way could blow out a good set of Koni's.
