Hi Gary, most of the these valves can't be reused as the hard chrome is worn completely off on the valve end of the stem! I'll post the part number and application of the valve we retrofit but it's an 11mm hard chrome stem that we step cut down and tread to match the original which is the most expensive part of rebuilding these wastegates! Guess I need to look into OD grinding used valves under size and having them re-hard chromed then grind them back to standard. We use a manganese bronze valve guide which has lots of copper and a fair amount of zinc to make up for the lack of lubrication in that area but still are careful not to fit the valve too tight. We use a killer valve seat as this is where most of the wear occurs and then choose one of our wider contact area seat cutters as the 45 degree face needs to be much wider than a typical valve seat. I'm using the last 2 diaphragms I have on the shelf and have misplaced the source in the UK where we use to get them! I believe Richard Cooper knows so I'll email him and find out? I'll email you with what the costs end up at on the two I'm doing now. Take care, Dave
