The chain tensioner is self-adjusting and you cannot access it with the engine in the car. You can only get to it by removing the engine and then the timing chain cover, but if you're going to do that then you should replace the chain and tensioner anyway.
You can make slight adjustments to the chain tension as mudpuppy described. If you think your chain is loose, remove the valve cover and check the chain guides. I have seen the lower one come loose on two B-engines but they were both 1980 900's.
