That helps. The project i'm hoping to go with is similar to the 99 that trent saab has (the blue one with superaeros), i love that car...once that's done, hopefully I can find a 96 around to work on.
So the lips on the 99 and 900 are the same? Good, i've got a 4dr 900 sedan parts car that was hit on the front right, and still has 3 good arches. Should save some money. Are the wheel wells the same as well?
I'm more familiar with the 900's, a popular mod is to do a rear axle re-location to better fit wheels without common clearance/rubbing issues. Is this also the same as the 99?
DougM, would you suggest taking the paint down to the metal and starting from scratch? Some body shop people around here i've talked to have simply suggested taking care of any rust and then having the car prepped, primed and resprayed over the existing finish rather than taking it down to the ground?
Finally, looking at a few sites around and another thing that some have mentioned having to do is replace shock mounts. How do you go about this?
Thanks a ton!
RyanB
