have 16 valve engine in there...it was a goof talk. Granted, like doug stated, even with the B motor, they had to put the alt. down by the exhaust in '72, if I remember.
I have the situation figured out and this car WILL have heat. I'm in Utah...It wouldn't work any other way. The inlet/outlet comes out of a METAL case in the "72 I have...no plastic here, so I don't know how a different core would help. I'd have to do more butchery and seriously, I am trying to make this look normal. I found a hose at the local parts store with two right angles. I'll splice a tube between the two angles and all will be well. I'll have to put "sleeves" in the 16V hoses to make them small enough but that is an issue with any 16V in a 99. I'll have to use a sleeve for the reservoir hose also.
I appreciate the input all y'all have doled out. I'll get some pics up somewhere...Doug, any room on your site? (that too was goof talk...)
