Haunted '67 tranny plug update

My '67 V4's tranny plug is still stuck. Taking it in the shop tomorrow to have it drilled out. 3 mechanics have tried and failed to remove it. They even manufactured a tool to fit and the brass just twisted off in pieces. Everyone says the same thing, "That's the goofiest plug I've ever seen."
I'm thinking some idiot must have lock-tighted it or some such. Wish me luck.
