I'd drive 600km too if I thought I could pick up an original EMS/Turbo rack off a breakers here!
Just for your info [you may already know this anyway, so feel free to ignore] the pre '74 99 racks have fewer turn LtoL than the later 99s, but it's more 'fragile' item. The EMS/Turbo rack is the heavy duty type with the quickness of the earlier rack. My '73 car is much better to drive than most later cars - but I've worn the rack prematurely by having Inca wheels and 195 tyres on!! [doh..]
The early racks will come out thru the aperture in the inner wheelarch, the later ones don't - you have to tilt 'em and drop out past the bottom of the engine. In a 99 turbo you take the exhaust off too, and removing the bracket will cause about a gallon of gearbox oil to pour down your arm... Good design!
