Hi there,
To really figure out what is going on you (or any good body man) should measure all the proper alignments of the pilars and the size of the windshield and side window openings as specified by Saab (I have schematics of the body and hundreds of dimensions from the factory if you need). This will determine where the problem lies and possibly give the solution at a different point. You say the A-pillar was repaired - check all xyz dimensions against the other side - simply measuring with regular carpenters tape (for a start) from an easly identifiable and symetric point. You should have the solution quicky and can then determine if the current repairs have had any effect or not.
I dont know the whole story but this should help clarify things....don't glue the windshield it was not designed this way...(newer cars and trucks have glued windshields for rust protection and to prevent moisture and dirt retention)
