It is also really easy to install a manual fan switch which will overide the radiator switch. My fan works fine but it's nice having the ability to run the fan just in case. You already have a hole in the instrument panel for an extra switch. My 76 has the fan switch on the radiator outlet but I also have a 99 turbo radiator that has it on the side. I am told that when I install the turbo radiator, I'll be able to run my AC without any overheating. We'll see.
