It is actually at a VW, Audi, Saab dealership. Previous owner claims to have been meticulous about servicing but not sure if records exist. Dealership claims that a SAAB mechanic looks everything over but I doubt they really do. Wash, oil change, vacuum and back on the lot I suspect. My immediate plan, in lieu of this, would be to put out some cash and get all the fluids changed and as much preventative mnx done as possible.

I could spend a few thousand more and opt for a newer model but they are hard to find and the 2000+ models are more than I want to spend. Trying to find a 97-99 model well cared for and this is about as close as I've come. At $8500 it is well below dealer retail ($11K). Will see if they balk at $7K.
